For @Beverly :)

If you want to turn a word in a post into a link, it needs a little bit of basic coding, i'll try to show you without actually doing it.

For the actual link to work, the following needs to be done with no spaces, but if I do that here, all you'll see is the finished result.

First right click and copy the page you want to use, then type word of your choice

Feel free to have a practice on this thread.

Happy coding :)

Bother, it didn't show the coding,

I'll try again.

First right click and copy the page you want to use.

@zigs, is there a way to provide a link to a specific post in a different thread in the forum? I've read the BB code page in the "Help" part of the forum, and there doesn't seem to be a way, but you never know 'til you ask! :)

Not that I know of, you can link to the page of the thread that the post is on, but otherwise I think copy and paste is the way to go :)

Yep, there's a way :) If you look at each post, there is a number on the right hand side towards the bottom - this one is #15 for example. If you click on that number then you get a pop up with the link to that specific post together with the BB code (which will default to the topic name as the link text).

Hope that helps!
