Hi! I’m glad I found this awesome website! I’m new to gardening but I’m really enjoying it! Recently, I noticed that one of my herbs soil has some tiny yellowish balls/bubbles and I have no clue what they are. Maybe someone here can help? Thank you!!

Welcome to the forum @RoseMP . We think this might be slugs eggs. Very often little round pellets in compost is just left over slow release fertiliser - but I asked @zigs and we agree - slugs

You are most welcome. I would get rid of the compost, wash it all out of the roots - and replace with fresh. Are you using sterilised compost from a garden shop or is this soil out of the garden? The sterilised stuff is best by far in pots! Maybe you could have a tray with grit on it to stand the pots on which would discourage slugs in the future.

I’ll do so! We have three of these (attached some pics) and we used the same store bought compost for the 3 of them and just one has that problem. But there are a lot of those eggs all over it. Thank you! I hope that they don’t come back!
