Hello, I'm so excited to find this site! I live in Bakersfield, CA.... yes it's hot here. My favorite plants are succulents and chile plants. I live in an apartment so I need to keep my garden small. The photo that I use as my avatar is a pregnant onion that I used to have. It died for some reason but I still have one of her babies. I know I will learn a lot at this site and I hope that I can be of help to others too. Looking forward to it!!

Welcome DiCervantes. I know very little about succulents and chillies but there are members here that will be willing to talk with you about them. :)

Welcome to the forum, I remember how hot Bakersfield can get from my younger days living in Lancaster and weedpatch.

Hi there fellow chile grower and lover ;) What ind of chilies do you like to grow? I personally love growing ''chilaca'' chilies, as well as ''poblano'' chilies. Those two are wonderful chilies, and a must have if you are into Mexican food. Sadly those are very hard to find in Europe (unless you are ready to pay a really hefty price), so I am going to try and grow those myself. There are so many wonderful things you can prepare with these...

Anyways, just wanted to welcome you to the forum and wishing you to have a lot fun on here. And yes, I'm 100% sure you will learn a lot on here, I know I have ;)

Hi Trellum, I like the tepin type, they're small and really hot. You might be familiar with them, they're usually round and grow on a bush type of plant. Do you have those in Europe? My uncle has bushes of them in his back yard, it's almost time to go get another refill!
