At least in here it is now Midsummer
, longest day (northern hemisphere) of the year, of course it was a couple of days ago, but it is always a three day holiday weekend. White rose is midsummer rose, which usually blooms then.Usually celebrated with huge bonfire but as it has been so dry, it is not allowed.
Barbecue is to be done with caution so I smoked some finnish sausages in the electric smoker and fried zucchini "pancakes" on regular stove.
Does anyone else have Midsummer celebration, or is it just another day within the summer for you?
