Growing up, my mom was the green thumb. I am not much of a gardener as our property is on a well, and the well pump cannot take lengthy waterings that a yard and garden really need. Anyway, I just wanted to post a question or two to protect what we do have. Meanwhile, my wife is trying to start a modest vegetable garden, so who knows where this may lead.
