Was out for a drive through the field, and found some sorta big leafy plant. Definitely stood out from the grass. Curious about what it is.

Coltsfoot.

The flowers come before the leaves in early spring,look a bit like skinny Dandelions.

You can smoke the leaves to relieve chest infections, always knew smoking was good for you :D

I concur. This is the Arrowhead Coltsfoot (Petasites frigidus var. sagittatus), in the Butterweed Tribe (Senecioneae) of the Daisy Family (Asteraceae). This variety is native to Alaska, Canada and northern parts of the contiguous United States.
