I took an old 12"-12"-12" glass terrarium and made a nice nepenthes enclosure. They are all different types, these pictures are before I have labels up. IMG_20171118_124450_01.jpg IMG_20171118_124455_01.jpg

Never had one, does it smell?
Leaves getting modified to catch insects.

Nice idea it keep humidity high.
If I plan to grow them, my neighbourhood kids will love it.
Did you grow it from seeds or bought it.

If a kid doesn't like it, he's a bit strange.. I remember touching the shy leaves which would close upon any air movement.. Fascinating!

This particular type is a pitfall style trap, bugs are attracted to the nectar but fall in the pitcher and get digested by fliud in the trap.

They do not smell at all, it is really fun watching the insects eventually fall into the trap.

Seems to me some of the plants have two or even three pouches .. A very efficient killing machine! :cautious:
