Cabbage

I have a 4lb cabbage that is destined to become sourkraut, but not all of it. I still have about a half a head remaining, but I am clueless as to what to do with it. Any suggestions?

Cole slaw? Stuffed cabbage roll? Steamed with balsamic vinegar? Grilled with pork chops? Boiled with Polish sausage?

Rosyrain there is so much dishes you could use your cabbage in; i just love cabbage n chicken stew and one of my other favorite is cabbage soup it's just so filling and healthy at the same time.

You could cut it into wedges add salt, pepper and butter to taste (I like lot's of butter ) wrap the wedges in foil and bake them. I would bake them for about 30 minutes but you might like them crunchier. You can add other things such as bacos, and various sauces to spice them up. That reminds me, I think I have some cabbage in the fridge.

You can cook it with onions, salt, pepper etc. and have it as a side dish. That is what my mother would make and I loved it and sometimes she would put squash in it as well.
