Are my petunia seedlings too dense?

I sowed some petunia seedlings and they've come up great. But I think they need potting on now. The stems are very thin as they are so dense.

Are they ruined? Will they be okay to pull up and pot on?

Thanks so much for any help. My first year sowing and growing!

Welcome @amateurpetuniaman .

That's quite a spread of petunias. They can grow densely, but those seem too dense, but they do look healthy. I would immediately take a sharp, clean pair of garden scissors to thin out the smaller, weaker ones in place without disturbing any soil.

Then later, when you are ready to pot them out, separate further by dividing as needed to give about a 6-inch spread around each plant. Give some away to friends or whatever rather than waste those beauties.
