Pothos Air Roots

Just wondering if anything will happen if you tear air roots. Will it affect the rest of the plant/vine? I realize they are for attaching but will they be fine detached? Again, as well if the air roots are torn

If you accidentally damage 1-2 air roots, nothing will happen. But if you injure a lot of air roots, then the minimum damage to the plant - yellow leaves. The maximum damage is the death of a plant.
The plant has no extra organs.
