hello all

my uncle has 4 Jujube tree's and he wanted to cut two of them which small new once, so i suggested that i would take them sense i do not have any jujube tree's, i took some of the soil around them and tried to take them out but they were too hard i damaged the roots but there is still some roots ( not alot) and planted them in my garden and gave them alot of water, the question is will they or can they make it with the roots damage?
here a pic of them after planting them in my garden.
Note: i took out some of the green in the lower part of them after taking this pic, thought that maybe the root wont be able to feed all this green with the damage in them.
srry didnt think of taking a pic of the roots before planting them.

When the leaves drop or turn yellow you can scratch the bark of the limb and if it is brown underneath, that part of the tree is dead. If green it's still alive.
