Leaves aren't really going to contain macro nutrients but they are rich in micro nutrients.

I checked in about Leaves. Hardwood Leaves are better as far as nutrients but are harder to break down so mix them with Nitrogen and shred them.

Some say Oak Leaves have a poison but it has very little so it is considered a myth.

Oak leaves, tannic acid, but like you say, not much. I still try and mix them with a bit of wood ash.
I don't know what you classify as hardwood, an English carpenter would say hardwood about any deciduous trees and soft wood about conifers, which is a bit silly, some deciduous is really soft and some conifers very hard.
