My boyfriend knows how much I love hyacinths, and he gave me a new one:love:
I didn't have any free pots, so I planted it in a jar:D
This is how it looked a few days ago:

Beautiful! Gives me hope for spring! I have hyacinths planted in every garden bed. My favorite color is purple-blue, but they are all gorgeous. They smell great too! Very clever putting a bulb in a glass jar.

It's lovely, @claudine! I have one paperwhite bulb leftover from the holidays that I keep forgetting to set up. I have rocks, a tall vase... I even have a "crystal" bowl I was planning to use, but I just never seem to get around to it. Now my work schedule is changing again so who knows when I'll spend any quality time with my plants.

Thank you all:) I love this hyacinth. We thought it will be red, because this is what they told my boyfriend when he was buying it, but I adore it anyway. It's a beautiful shade of pink:)

So beautiful! Thanks for sharing :) It's so pretty red or not. You are getting really good at growing this kind of plants :) Have you tried with tulips?
