Hello from a newbie

Hello! I am from the east coast of the United States and I am a super newbie. My garden is my apartment balcony which houses two plants: tomato and aloe.

I super want to get into sustainable gardening once I'm in a bigger place but until then, I want to have a little veggie garden on my porch.
