Heirloom Seeds

Are all heirloom seeds from one company the same as heirloom seeds from another company?

ie Dark Detroit Red Beets from Company XXX & Dark Detroit Red Beets from Company YYY & Dark Detroit Red Beets from Company ZZZ, etc?

They're supposed to be but then again stuff happens. From company to company isn't the problem. The problem is where the company gets the seeds from. The growers are the one's who screw things up by mislabeling and sending the seed companys the wrong thing.
