I didn't know I had them till it was too late, gonna grow them under fleece this year.

I was just about to suggest that when I saw your post on the leek moths. Tell us how it works out for you. I have often heard that it is a great method to keep MOST bugs out, but there are bugs that can still slip between the fibers.

They don't tend to get in through the fibres, they tend to lay their maggots in the soil, which overwinter then hatch.
