Going to grow strawberries indoors, need help

I am going to grow strawberries indoors with my two daughters. I need help getting started. I want to use the strawberries to make fresh smoothies.

They are commonly available on amazon and in some local stores as seasonal items. Not sure about your locale of course. Many people seem willing to build their own. Youtube is a HUGE resource for ideas.
keeping everything sanitary and changing the water once per month probablly will be a big part of a successful plan.
