Yarrow Achillea millefolium 'Red Velvet' (close-up) (from my garden, July 28, 2013). The 'Red Velvet' has rich stunning rosy-red flat-top flower clusters on tall resilient stalks clad in fine textured gray-green foliage.

Oh aren't they so pretty? I have only seen the white color! This is such a treat for the eyes!
