If I won't transfer the cactus to a bigger pot it wonw grow that much ?Might be a Cereus forbesii, although there are an awful lot of columnar cacti in cultivation.
Most of them want to be trees and can grow at about 6 inches a year.

And I don't have a drained pot dose it effect the growth as well? I almost don't water the plant I do only once a week and very little I don't let the ground get too moistIt will slow it down a bit,View attachment 96842

Well not cool like Europe but pretty cool at least for me .I was wondering, does it get cool in Israel in the winter? I've only been there in May and that was lovely cactus weather![]()
