What is this?

Hallo, I bought this plant last week, does not look very good and I don't know what the name of the plant is. Can someone please help also with some advice on how to save it.

looks like a Mesembryanthemum of some kind but finding the variety is not going to help that poor bugger as I got to be honest its a Dead Mesembryanthemum Sorry to here you just Bought it But I Can't see a way of saving that one Welcome to the Forum Hantie & Hope I'm wrong

I would carefully cut away all that dead stuff with a sterile razor and just leave the main stump and the two green shoots coming out the top. You have nothing to loose because like Daren said, it's pretty much a goner. There may also be some form of seed in those pods above the leaves. Experiment!
