I love melons.
I keep trying to grow melons.
I have never tasted a home-grown melon.
This is the worst summer in 20 years, here.
I will try again next year.

Very nice job!!! Where are you located, Cassie? I'm just curious, because I can see your watermelon and grapes harvest (as well as the others) did very well. My neighbor used to grow grapes :) but I had never seen a grape harvest like that. Very good job! Truly remarkable.

Fantastic harvest! The grapes look very delicious and I hope they are the sweet kind! We have a wild grape vine in the back fence, but they are terribly sour. The birds don't even like them :(

Pardon me for saying that the quality of your harvest is what we call backyard harvest and not the commercial type but, take note, for me the backyard harvest is more delicious. Eating the backyard harvest can give you the feeling of your hardship and success in the garden unlike eating a good quality harvest that feels like you are eating the fruits bought from the market.

This thread made me realize how much I miss eating strawberries. They're so delicious! I wish it was possible to grow them all year long. My wild strawberries still bear fruits, but I think they'll wither soon.

I love the grapes, they look sweet and juicey. Good harvest. I didn't plant this year the summer was so cool.

Hey, I think they would grow in a big pot filled with compost. That would make growing them less complicated. Be sure to feed them with lots of water too.

Yeah I am no commercial grower, and I don't sell any fruits. I eat everything that is grown in my backyard ;)
I think I have probably grown thousands of dollars worth of food this year. From April till November, I eat from the garden!

This type is the Concord variety. They are sweet and sour like a jolly rancher candy, if I recall correctly.

I know your harvest came and went a long time ago but I surely had a good time checking out the grapes and watermelon and veggies. Many people don't do this in their own yards as they prefer to go to the supermarket to get the items that have been sprayed and debugged. But this type of food that you represent real organic eating that's fresh and tasty. This is what most people need to do, at least when the weather allows.
