Your first major problem is that electric mowers run on alternating current and cordless mowers run on direct current (batteries). The cost to pull this off would be prohibitive.

Anything can be done, although I cant see it being very efficient.

You will need a dc to ac inverter for this, and quite possibly a running capacitor for hitting heavy grass. They are a bit heavy when larger.
