Hello fellow green thumbs! My name is Joss and I live in Kansas City, Missouri (bordering zones 5b/6a). I am thrilled to have a new place to get advice and tips from, as well as offer any I might have! Confined to a very small apartment, my garden consists purely of containers. I tend to overdo my plant purchases in the Spring and find myself with little space and an overwhelmed mind. While I absolutely love plants, love getting my hands dirty, and playing with bugs.. there is so much I do not know. I am extremely open to all comments, tips, and suggestions in any of my posts on this forum. I do have to be honest though, I enjoy keeping things simple. When it comes to the "chemistry" side of gardening (adding chemicals or artificial food sources), I tend to zone out and won't try those efforts. I am sorry for that in advance. I really look forward to putting this forum to good use for me and others!

Hi there, Joss :) Welcome to the forum! Glad you decided to join us, and I must say I share the same approach when it comes to gardening: the simpler the better. I also don't like to use chemicals on my plants, because those always end up complicating everything :)

Hi Joss and welcome. I too agree, my minds gets all muddled if it sounds too complicated. I just like to enjoy my garden although I do work very hard in it.
