Hi Tina, welcome to the forum. I am from England, so I am not in touch with what is available or does well in your part of the world. I would recommend that you start a new thread that shows in the title you are looking for help. Give them an idea where you live, America has a big variation in climate, also what sort of area you are working with, and what sort of effect you want to achieve. For example, do you like showy flowers, strong evening scents, amazing foliage? Each plant offers something different. Meanwhile it might be worth trawling the appropriate parts of the forum, I am sure you are not the first to ask such a question.
