My Cousin James told me his neighbor has a double columbine that is black. The neighbor declared he can have some of the seeds.
I believe this is the columbine.

I may still have a double black aquilegia I was given in 2013. Although a smashing color, the plant isn't as

vigorous as the others I have in almost random spots in two gardens. I have this rather nice double pink that is a sport. I have seeds, but the odds of growing true to seed are likely near zero.
