One guy in America tried to sue McDonalds because he didn't know eating their products made him fat?

The guy was in Brazil.

Anyone that eats at McDonalds deserves what they get. The same as people who smoke.

We have to take random drug tests at work. The poppy seed myth was circulating for a while until they put out a statement putting it to rest. Essentially they assured us that you had nothing to far from eating poppy seeds s you would have to eat a huge volume of them in a very specific and short time window prior to testing in order for a false positive (like pounds worth of seeds 30-60 minutes prior or something silly like that).

I wouldn't give it a second thought.

I occasionally eat something from there (and I am above average fitness level), but really only because the local establishment has an AWESOME play area that can entertain my kids for hours. So if I need a breather or am trying to get some reading done I will take them to let them play and I'll have a coffee or a snack. But in general, I agree with you.

I will have to admit that McDonald’s has great coffee. Since Coffee is my drug of choice I do stop there when I travel but I wouldn’t let my dogs eat their food.
