Your Garden
I'm going to describe my last garden, as I've only been in the new one for a year or two. My last house was in Roanoke, Virginia. We moved into a foreclosed home, and the yard was a tragedy - I don't think they had done anything for years. The gardens were so overgrown and the yard had a dozen huge walnuts trees, that were damaged and diseased, (and had to come down) which had killed all the grass, so the lawn was nothing but weeds. It was a total re-do.
After much work, this is what it looked like right before we left. We had planned to stay much longer, and I had a lot more work I wanted to do, but I'm still pleased with what we were able to accomplish in just 4 years.
