Overseeing Wildflowers - What Happens?

Has anyone (naturally on accident) over seeded wild flowers? May have done the same, although am pleased with all the small green seedlings coming up after a good steady rain.

Curious as to what your results have been.

At this point, going to let nature take it's course, and see how things grow.

I've seeded with wildflower seeds but hardly any came up, apart from 2 plants of corn marigold. As you say best to leave them to fight for themselves.

At this point, I really don't have a choice, and nature does far better pruning than I could ever hope to do.

You never know how many seeds will actually sprout.
