Beautiful :) Up here in Northumberland the coastal paths are bursting with flowers too. Last year I tried to start learning more wild flower names but, compared to bird watching, there's just so many!!! I gave up and decided to take my husband's view and just enjoy them without needing to name every single thing

Nearly called my first Daughter Toadflax, as it was flowering outside the maternity unit when she was born :)

I'm glad you didn't go for that name! ;) Ian's sister thought her name was Toady when she was really young, as that's what they used to (affectionately) call her

Lol, Toadflax doesn't quite have the same ring as Rose or Iris or other "flower" names. :p (And why are there no boy's names after flowers...?)

Lovely photos, zigs! It's so pretty where you live.

I love wildflowers - there's tons of them here in random places like roadsides! Next time I'm out and about I'll try and snap some pics to share too, so you can get a glimpse of some Japanese wildflowers!

Got stung on the wrist off the coast of Africa by one, swelled up like a tennis ball and felt like it was on fire
