My tomatoes look like they have a phosphorous deficiency. There are purple leaves on some of them. I am considering adding bone meal but I read dogs like this and it could be dangerous to them. Anyone have dogs and use bone meal? Are there any alternatives I should consider?

Blood and bone meal is fine for dogs. Bone meal is a standard ingredient in most kibbles. I'd just caution against letting a puppy get any, as excess calcium can be bad for developing joints.
