When I say this, I am asking if you have ever tried growing flowers/plants/vegetables/fruit on a program or game? There is an elaborate plant-growing system on the MMORPG Ultima Online. When the plants fully grow (two weeks I believe), they can be cross-pollinated and seeds can be collected, that grow new hybrids. Have you played or learned from programs or games in this way? It is possible, as another poster said, to be used in the real world.

As strange as it may seem, some Pokemon games actually had quite a complex berry growing system. It mainly consisted of planting a berry, adding mulch and watering. Those principles are very relevant to real world gardening.
