Next week here in Texas (and some other areas) we will have a super moon, blue moon, and lunar eclipse. A super moon happens when the moon is just a tad closer in orbit and appears larger than usual to us here on earth; a rare blue moon is when two super moons occur in the same month, whence the expression "once in a blue moon"; and of course a lunar eclipse is self-explanatory. My husband will be out with his camera on a tripod, snapping photos like crazy. Opportunities like this don't happen often, perhaps once in a blue moon
