Has edible leaves and sour fruits, sometimes made into jam.

Very aggressive, can cover a large area, found this one growing at Sidmouth in Devon.

Flowers can also be purple, which Tetters thinks the one we got the cuttings from might be.

Leaves are eaten by tortoises.
:oops:

Don't want the campsite full of tortoises :D

Says it's not frost hardy, but it survived being frozen last week.

I've Been looking after a large hog not or Ice Plant in a garden I care for but It has never Flowered in the three years I've known it. I cover it in fleece just as a to help get it through the cold months & did take a cutting last year that is happy. Just wish it would flower lol
