I don't like peas at all if they are on the side of the plate. Only when they are mixed in with other stuff like in rice or a chicken pot pie, pasta salad or whatever. But in the garden I can eat them all day fresh and raw. Green and yellow beans I could eat all day any day in any way lol.

Yes I said something to the Amish one time about shelling Peas.

Oh we have the Shellers do it. Their Butcher was shut down I had to show some how to Butcher.

I was really surprised with them. Their way was simple but in long run I knew more as far as what I considered normal stuff.
