My one Tehranivee Sweet Cherry tree has fruit this year and I am in contention with birds mostly robins for the fruit. My solution was to cover the tree with three plastic nets 14 fee by 14 feet, which was readily available from Home Depot at $10.00 per net. A larger size would be better but this was not available. Two people placed the net using eight foot rebar as poles. The net was secured to the ground using wooden stakes. Without protection all the fruit would be ingested by birds.
