The Orchid genus Dracula was named after the titular character of Bram Stoker's famous novel.
The genus is native to southern Mexico, Central America, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
Pictured is
Dracula vampira, endemic to Ecuador and with a name that doubles down on the theme.

I sometimes wonder who Graham Thomas was, I am guessing a good gardener because both the rose and the honeysuckle named for him are really good. Grew both at our last house, the honeysuckle is a strong grower and has great scent, the rose we grew as a stand alone specimen as we were told it can suffer in company, lovely yellow rose with buds that made a great buttonhole.
