Those roses are great Logan. Afraid most of mine have suffered a bit again this year. Black spot needs a bit of handling, and I haven't been able to keep on top of it. Just getting over the heart attack, and now a small stroke, and 10 hours surgery  Never mind, I will get to it again as soon as I can - where there's life there's hope aye. Your pictures also remind me I also have more lavender to trim up - they soon get straggly otherwise don't they. Can't wait to get back out there :)

Is this recently or earlier in the year.
Yes the lavender does get straggly if the flowering stems haven't been cut back and thanks about my roses, i don't bother with the black spots but some varieties get it more than others.

Surgery a week ago on the carotid artery - was still in HDU and came home Thursday evening. I need to get back to my garden, - I was just getting on top of the weeding and mulching, and it needs finishing off before the winter. I need to get my muscles working again.
Thank goodness for Zigs! Feel a bit like Frankenstein's monster at the mo, but the plants won't mind that - but enough of high jacking the thread aye :sorry: don't want to get told off.

😧 Down OK. Big plaster off the wound. Sod all jobs done, back up a nightmare. Look like Frankenstein's monster - scar from ear to shoulder bone. I shall have to wear a bag over my head now or else I'll scare the neighbours..... mind you, that might not be so bad :sneaky:

Are you testing me @zigs ? :D I think it's a Dahlia but the leaves are a bit 'moth eaten' to tell.

Yes, but not a Duck a Hooded Crow. ;)

I've never seen a Hooded Crow, lovely Sheal :)
