What is this bug and neem vs bt?

What should i do, bt or neem works? I pruned stuff the worst parts. looks like they just showed up today, hatched. Cute little monsters killing my squash. Didnt see anything on Google.

I've never had them but that's what they are called. Sorry I can't give you more info on how to get rid of them.

Ive seen these all around my squash, i thought they were some kinda lady bug. But they seem to like my cucs more, that must be whats getting at my cuc leaves, i see the ressemblence of damage now.

Okay, thanks, ill figure out how to kill these buggers... all this time i thought i had lady bugs, idiot.

Mexican bean beetle larvae. They look like lady bugs when mature but with a different amount of spots.
