We had a lot rain this year and with the rain an Aphid and Spider Mite plague emerged, that did real damage to my roses.

I sprayed them with insecticide a few times, but it just washes away with the rain. I am not really a supporter of insecticides as it kills the good bugs, like the Aphid eating Lady bugs as well.

Can you suggest any other methods I can use to manage the Aphids and Mites? I know you can plant Nasturtium to attract the aphids, but mine just do not want to grow, any other ideas of what I can plant to keep the bugs off my Roses?

Yatte , have you tried diluted dish soap spray? I often do that for my roses and they don't have bugs anymore. I hope you can do something to save your roses quickly.
