Pomegranate seeds?

I've been drying some pomegranate seeds for a few weeks and wondered if planted will they grow and if they will be true. I know the fruit I took them from were organic from the grower.
I've never had much luck with seeds so any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Many years ago I grew a few pomegranate trees from seeds. It was a waste of time. None of the trees had good fruit, nothing like what I planted. Some of the trees started to produce in the 3rd year but most started in the 4th year with a couple in the 5th year. I cut them all down. The best way to propagate them is by cuttings.
