Serendipity. Went to pick up the latest set of fallen twigs. Heard a hoot and saw these. Managed to get the camera before they moved.

Showed the missus, "I want one". She had a European eagle owl she got from a breeder when it was two days old, 'Kahli' lived with us for 25 years
