These are a few shots of the entrance garden at the San Francisco Botanical Garden.
What I like about these beds is they show how transiliently thrilling a garden can be when contrast in color, shape, and texture is dialed up to to the max. Forget all the design 'rules' about planting with repetition, odd numbers or otherwise.
Maybe the new maxim should be "Never plant the same plant twice'!
