I recently transferred some kale and collard greens. I noticed some holes and white spots on the leaves. I am not sure if it snail, hornworm, or some other insects. I sprayed it with some Bt earlier in the eeek and put some iron phosphate in it is snails. I wondered if sonething else could be the cause. I noticed that more leaves have been chewed on after I sprayed them.

After using Bt and snail bait the only thing left are insects. Bt only kills caterpillars and iron phosphate only kill snails and slugs. If you use spinosad you will kill insects and caterpillars. It takes about 1 day longer for spinosad to kill caterpillars than that of Bt.

I do have a captain Jack solution that includes spinosad. I used it for my tangerine tree that has been infested with leaf miner. I'll do a test spray and see if it has any negative side effect. Then, I spray them further.
