They'll be fine as long as it doesn't get below freezing and even if it does and kills the plant the root system will survive, provided the soil doesn't freeze, another reason to deep mulch around banana plants.

However, temps you are experiencing will only stop growth, until it warms up, but they will survive.

Well I did put a heavy mulch around them.

I left the Greenhouse open but turned the exhaust fan off and it was 50 in there. It was 47F last night.

My wife said too late on the Banana Trees they are already planted.

They had 85% chance of rain and not a drop. So I need to water.

Well my Banana Trees look good and we're getting much needed rain and warmer temperatures.

I was just watching a show in Oklahoma. Guy had Banana Trees in his yard.
