Found a grub when digging over an old from garden bed

I’d this a good or bad grub?

I don't know what it is, but the really nasty ones tend to be white and come in numbers, that looks more like something preparing to pupate to a chrysalis. As a little boy I put a whole bunch of such things in jars of earth under my bed, I woke up one morning months later to a room full of butterflies.
