Flower recommendations

Hi all. I’m looking for suggestions for some flowers to plant to give my landscaping some color. I’m open to annuals or perennials. I’m in western NY and the beds receive what would be considered full sun. Thanks!

I would go for gaura as it flowers for a long time and also alstroemerias, bearded irises and camassias. I would go for a standard acer, a standard salix, two round topiary shape boxes. a standard bay. Not to be missed is a stipa gigantea.

For vibrant colors and continues blooming I really love Canna Lily and Dahlia, both comes in different sizes so there is always one that fits in any space
