Second in line are the coming crop of nectarines. I wonder if they are named after 'nectar from the gods'. The birds will share these with us. I hope to get a photo of the 'purple crowned lorikeet' feeding here.
The Lisbon lemon is full of great fruit and has been loaded with ripe fruit since late winter. I have to prune this beauty down to seven foot (2.1M) high as soon as the fruit is gone.
Photo left - I don't eat loquats but if someone has a good recipe, I'm interested.
Photo right - Indian mulberries. An Indian friend identified them, so we named them after her. I haven't pruned this tree and so the small fruit are smaller then usual.
These are globe artichokes and yes, we do strip them back to the heart and eat them. It's a lot of prep for small return but the plants grow themselves. These are NOT scotch thistles although they look alike. They probably aren't fruit either come to think of it.
