We have something attacking the leaves on our pear tree. Under the leaf are hard yellow/ brown lumps (? Eggs) , then the top of the leaf is breaking down wherever these lumps are. - ? release of some type of enzyme to break down the leaf material.
Does anyone know what this may be and how we treat it.
I am trying to grow a pink dogwood tree. The leaves are turning dust to red & curling. What can I do to get it healthy?
Zigs, as my husband said, "Never get in a fight with a guy that throws big stones around." Good on you!

Hi I have written a reply to this but it obviously went somewhere else?! Firstly it’s lvely and secondly if it as a weed in 8 years it would have spread, a lot! I’m sure I’ve seen a pic somewhere with the name but always looking so can’t find. It maybe a type of euphorbia but not sure. Send pic to amateur dardeningmag they are great and back to u quite quickly. Kerry

Hi Kerry, You have the correct person and the plant I am asking about is the one with the white flowers and delicate leaves. That is the only photo I have of it.

Still not sure u got my message! 1 I think it’s a lovely plant and if It was a weed it would have spread a lot in an eight year period. Perhaps send pic to amateur gardening. They are good and get back to u quickly. Cheers Kerry

Hi Gail,

It's good of you to ask and Bron says to thank you. Bron's plodding along OK now but being so ill due to drinking the caffeinated coffee really did flatten her making her extremely ill; it distressed me seeing Bron like that and I hope never again.

We hope you too are feeling better Gail.

Lots of love, Col. xx

Hello Colin, Both you and Bron have a lovely sunday and nice to hear she's doing well (y)...it would worry you, you'd be heartless not to. My hubby as a cold and he won't stop going outside and I keep worrying about him  but he won't listen.

I'm the same Colin thank you from you both...there's worse more people than myself in the world that's how I look at things :)

Both take care and all my  Gail X
