Yukka looking ill

Hi

My partners Yukka has suddenly gone a bit ropey, one of its leaf strands has started wilting and discolouring.

Any ideas? It's in partial light in our living room, nowhere near a radiator and he says he waters it when the top inch of the soil is dry.
