My pepper leaves have been turning yellow over the past few weeks and I don’t know why. I gave it some blood meal two weeks ago but that didn’t seem to make a difference. It’s been raining a lot in my area so I’m wondering if that’s the reason. What can I do to fix this? Thank you!

If the leaf were just a yellow color without green veins it would be a nitrogen deficiency, but it has green veins so it is a deficiency in iron or magnesium or both. I would get some Chelated Iron and use that.

Oh Chuck do not forget us rednecks over here in the land O'b cotton! We use magnesium sulfate to help that pepper! That blood meal had plenty of iron! It just takes longer because its not the immediacy of the blood of Christ but rather the longer term breakdown and composting of the blood of the cow or whatever was used. Sugar would be helpful and you know why.

Yeah, most of what you say is true, but don't forget that if you are lacking in one or two trace minerals you are probably lacking in others as well. And Epsom Salts is not a cure all although for what it does is excellent.
